This month at the Theater of the Centre of Arts in Guayaquil, Ecuador documentary was presented Ecuador: The Royal Tour, conducted by the American journalist Peter Greenberg, who toured the four worlds of our country, accompanied by the President of the Republic, Rafael Correa.

The aim of the program is to share with the world the cultural wealth and biodiversity that has Ecuador as a tourist destination, it promotes a positive image of the country, focused on tourism as a tool for peace and progress, because in Ecuador is practiced the conscious and sustainable tourism, the care and conservation of nature is supported by the Constitution of the Republic approved in 2008, as well as tourism being a state policy.

Between 2007 and 2016 our country received more than 145 awards in tourism. The documentary Ecuador: The Royal Tour will also boost the economy through tourism. This has been achieved in versions that have been made with other countries.
Ecuador destination promotion at national and international levels will generate more jobs and conquer new tourism markets. Various authorities from the represent the touristic sector and students enjoyed the launch of the program and were delighted with the images of a mega diverse and adventurous Ecuador on the 60 minutes that last the documentary.
On the 14th of April was launch in the United States in the cities of New York and Chicago and the following day was aired on U.S. television. The launch in Ecuador was delayed due to the tragic earthquake that stroked our country on those dates.
